Protect your account with an extra code when you log in: from an authenticator app or by email.
With two-factor authentication you need a code as well as your password to log in. If someone else knows your password, they still cannot get to your bookings and payments.
Good to know
- You choose: an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password) or a code by email.
- Tick Remember this browser for 30 days when you log in and that browser will not ask for a code for 30 days.
- With the app you get recovery codes. Keep them safe: if you lose your phone, you log in with one.
- The Voyando app does not ask for a code. When someone logs in to the app on a new device, you get an email.
- Can a sub-user no longer log in? The main user turns their two-factor authentication off under Users. Locked out yourself? Contact us.
Step by step
-
Step 1: In the menu, go to Account › Two-factor authentication.
-
Step 2: Click Set up under Authenticator app or Code by email.
-
Step 3: Authenticator app: scan the QR code with the app and enter the 6-digit code. Then save your recovery codes, for example in your password manager.
-
Step 4: Code by email: click Send me a code and enter the code from the email.
-
Step 5: You can turn it off or switch method on the same page; we ask for your current code to do that.
